coffee, muffins, Auckland poems (PopKorn Press Book 43) Kindle Edition by Sonyl Varma (Author)

Coffee and muffins for $3 is what I had before poetry class and bounced. M asked what is he
high on? This is a masterpiece at a time when Word has decided not to give me spell-check, as
it is making American English a religion and using Office for mass conversion with basic
functional defects. Microsoft will go to hell. I am proud of my typos.
Dedicated to me: for surviving a psycho who called himself a teacher but was a bully and a
lecher, who was not only power hungry and jealous but also petty and pathetic; who painted the
drama room black so that people forget his mental illness and concentrate on his nothings. My
drama class was the worst chapter in my Auckland University creative education. But that will be
covered in more detail in the donkey from Hamilton because this professor was from Hamilton
and the only hole in this case was the one in his head. That was a tough semester.
This is seventh in line of the Auckland poetry series.
The Auckland poetry series of around ten books is a collection of poems influenced by the
university, time away from home, a dying mom and a heart that was raw and in pain. It is also a
tribute to Auckland University and my teachers Tusiata Avia, Selina Tusitala Marsh, M Leggott,
Lisa, Helen and Mike Johnson.
