Written mostly in Auckland city, when I was living in the CBD about the summer of 2006-2007;
one of my rare summers in Auckland in a collection that was called Scorpio Rising after my
ascendant but these poems are kinda sweet and do not sting. Thank god for that. After all I live
in a country without snakes, scorpions and wild animals. So gave it a fresh look and name after
the park in the heart of the city that I often walked through to go to Nova Scotia.
